DomainOS ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: Email address, name, hashed password
- Usage data: Domains added, leads scraped, emails sent (counts only)
- SMTP credentials: Stored encrypted at rest — we never send emails on your behalf without your explicit action
- Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the DomainOS service
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
- To enforce plan limits and process billing
- To provide customer support
3. Data Isolation (Multi-tenant)
DomainOS is a multi-tenant platform. Every piece of data you create (domains, leads, outreach history) is strictly isolated to your account. No other user can access your data. All database queries are scoped by user ID.
4. Third-party Services
- Stripe: Payment processing — governed by Stripe's privacy policy
- Google Maps API: Used for lead enrichment — subject to Google's ToS
- Apollo.io API: Used for people search — subject to Apollo's ToS
5. Data Retention
Active accounts: data retained indefinitely. Canceled accounts: data retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted. You can export your leads at any time as CSV.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@domainos.io.
7. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. SMTP credentials are encrypted at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices.
